Hello and welcome to my motoring blog. This blog I hope will be a journal about daily motoring, my driving experiences and why I am hopeful about the future plans for smarter motoring.

I look forward to sharing my journal with you and discovering more about motoring. The areas I am interested in include:

I was once called a ‘bird-bloke’ by a car salesmen whilst I was test drove a sexy black Mazda RX-8 PZ!  My son and husband were in the back of the car feeling a little nervous as the Salesman told me to put my foot down!

“It will feel like it’s on rails”  he gushed.

The rest is history as they say, we bought the car in 2010 and drove it as far Galloway, UK.

As a lifetime student of motoring I find driving gets a bad press. I recently gained a few grey hairs helping my son learn to drive around Milton Keynes and almost of of the 300 roundabouts! I follow the Institute of Advanced Motorists.

Finally, how can we get smarter with traffic issues.  I am excited about the future of driving.  I swoon when I see any electric car. (seriously)  See you next time!
